Our Story
Skandinavisk was founded in Copenhagen in 2012 by two English expatriates who had fallen in love with the Scandinavian way of life. After more than two decades of Nordic travels, they created Skandinavisk by bringing together scents, Scandinavia and sustainability in one beautifully designed collection for body and home.
Our fragrances capture the subtle, refined scents based on aspects of Scandinavia we consider to be precious to the inhabitants and exotic to the outside world. From the calm of the boreal forest to the salt air of distant shores, each fragrance tells a story of this remarkable region.

In Scandinavia, people prioritise life balance, fellowship, family and friends, and everyday moments of shared happiness. It is a region where community, consciousness and timeless values of trust, equality and respect thrive. We try to bring these values into everything we do.
Sustainability
We have been a certified B Corporation since 2019, meeting the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. Our candles are made from sustainably farmed Swedish rapeseed wax with pure cotton wicks. Our glass containers are partially recycled and EU-produced. Our packaging is FSC-certified from managed European forests. All our products are vegan and cruelty-free.
